Molly Forster
Molly is an Emmy award-winning documentary producer and journalist with over ten years of experience writing and producing for newspapers, magazines, television, and documentaries. With reporting expertise in science, health, the environment, and criminal justice, her most recent series, BURIED (2021, SHOWTIME), was nominated for two News & Documentary Emmys in 2021. She has another series slated for Netflix release in 2025. Her previous work has appeared on, FRONTLINE PBS, NBC, Stat News, The Desert Sun, East Bay Express, Hoodline, and The Santa Barbara Independent.
Molly holds a master’s degree from UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism and is a founding partner at Family Pictures.

Meg Shutzer
Meg is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and investigative reporter whose work seeks to interrogate power structures and elevate stories from communities that have been historically underrepresented. Meg’s documentaries, supported by Hulu, Berkeley Film Foundation, IF/Then and Field of Vision, have screened on five continents and won numerous awards at film festivals. Their most recent investigation into a juvenile detention center in Louisiana was published on the front page of The New York Times and was a Finalist for the Livingston and Dart Awards. Their other documentaries include, MOTHER (2024), 8 Days at Ware (2023, PBS), Knocking Down the Fences (2020, PBS), and New Generation Queens (2015, Amazon Prime).
Meg has a BA from Harvard and a Master’s in Journalism from UC Berkeley. When they aren’t chasing down a story, you can find Meg teaching journalism classes at San Quentin State Prison or cycling classes at 17 Reasons Athletic Club in the Mission District.

Yadegari Moreno
Brandon is a multilingual documentary cinematographer and director based in San Francisco, CA. Through an intimate filmmaking style, he strives to tell deeply reported, character-driven stories that humanize and uplift participants and their communities. He is a 2025 SFFILM FilmHouse Resident and 2025 Big Sky Pitch participant, where he’s developing his forthcoming feature, THE PRISON OUTSIDE. His most recent short, MOTHER (2024) has screened at over a dozen festivals across North America and Europe, including Mill Valley Film Festival, Frameline, and NewFest. Brandon’s recent cinematography credits include Quiet On Set (2024, HBO Max), VOCES: Latino Vote (2024, PBS), as well as forthcoming features Observer (2025) and The Last Class (2025). His other work has appeared on FRONTLINE PBS, in The Atlantic, The Guardian, High Country News, and KQED while being recognized by the duPont, Peabody, and Scripps Howard awards.
